Golf Le Fleur x Lacoste Collection Revealed

After a series of teases and sneak peeks, the collaboration between Tyler The Creator’s GOLF le FLEUR* and French sportswear brand Lacoste has officially hit shelves. The 16-piece collection, which includes socks, bucket hats, polos, a track set and cardigans, was designed to showcase GLF’s classic preppy aesthetic in a new, more premium fashion. The unisex pieces feature careful color blocking and pastel hues that successfully blend streetwear with traditional tennis culture.

Taking inspiration from Lacoste’s historical archives, the collection reimagines signature courtside staples in lofty tones like “litchi” (a pale pink), “geode” (beige) and “mascarpone” (off-white). Standouts include a wool varsity jacket that pairs a Harrington jacket with pleated pants and a pleated skirt; a pair of cotton shorts featuring matching jersey stripes and pockets; and a cardigan with co-branded crocodile patches that nod to Tyler’s own brand motifs. The collection also features a revamped GOLF le FLEUR* take on Lacoste’s classic crocodile logo, which features the words “GOLF” inside the reptilian shape with a small poppy flower clutched in its teeth.

GLF’s rebranding of the label in 2021 was part of an effort to position it as more of a luxury fashion brand than the typical rapper-turned-designer merch line. GOLF le FLEUR* has worked with several brands in the past, including trainer veterans Converse, which released a collaborative set with GLF back in 2019.

The latest partnership between Lacoste and GOLF le FLEUR* marks the second time the two brands have partnered on an apparel release. The duo reunited in 2019 for a tennis-inspired collection that elevated yuppy staples with GLF’s playful, pastel-hued aesthetic. The current iteration builds upon that success, elevating sportswear basics with a nod to rap-inspired streetwear style.

This new collection is available now at Lacoste online, in select flagship stores and at specialty boutiques like SSENSE, KITH and Concepts. It is also available for purchase at GOLF le FLEUR*’s own website, though supplies are expected to run out soon.
